Starting her career path as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) was not an accident for Mary Duncan. Mary has spent years in the management of a family owned and operated nursing facility, including as a member of their board of directors, and involvement with all facets of operations. Almost ten years ago, Mary chose to enter the insurance business, stating, “I love working with people one on one. People have needs, someone to be a sounding board and give direction; insurance is one of the areas that I can assist—it has a resolution.” Mary is licensed in Life & Health Insurance as well as Property & Casualty. Mary’s dedication to service resulted in her being named vice president of the Chardon office of Haas, Haas & Associates, and the Haas Healthcare Solutions Division. Mary has also helped establish and direct a public accounting practice and interfaced with many of its clients, adding to her varied and strong background in business and the community, which is highly beneficial when she advises clients on how to best meet their insurance needs. In addition, Mary has a deep tradition of service to her community and many organizations. Mary has volunteered in numerous areas of church, business, and community outreaches and programs throughout Geauga County. |
